Subject: Evolutionary Machine LearningEvolutionary computation covers all stochastic optimization methods that are based on nature-inspired computational models, strategies, and algorithms. During last two decades, a number of evolutionary computational models have been proposed, including evolutionary heuristics, genetic algorithms, learnable evolution models, evolutionary programming, non-Darwinian evolutionary strategies, and artificial life. With exponential increase in computer power today, they are able to deal with real-world problems and new application domains are widely arising. This seminar intends to be an intensive exploring course especially in the area of evolutionary machine learning methods and applications in real-world problems.
Topics will be assigned during the info day.
