Abstract
The elite master study course combines different components: a scientifical technical education at the highest stage, a first-grade interdisciplinary education (soft skills), a direct integration of leading industry partners as well as a international networking with global leading High-Tech-Centres. Thereby the graduates are enabled to successfully take charge in a very inovative, but fraught with risk, key sector like software engineering.
The study course contains noticeable more content than regular courses. Furthermore it provides a training in methods for analytical modeling. The lectures are very sophisticated and close to research. The link to the industry is made by the integration of leading partners from industry. Joint development projects are defined which are accomplished at university and at the companies. As a highlight the students stay abroad at international well-known hightech centres, such as Sophia Antipolis, Tel-Aviv, Cambrige, etc. External experts from science and industry are integrated in the interdisciplinary eduction.
